About Us
Once Upon a Princess is a fairy tale character company located in Kalamazoo, Michigan that specializes in performing for children’s princess parties, birthday parties, special events, and community activities. Once Upon A Princess was founded by Kathryn Morton, a Kalamazoo resident with degrees in Theater Arts and Teaching.
Kathryn Morton grew up in Kalamazoo, MI and recently moved back to the mid-west from Los Angeles, CA where she was studying, working, and performing for five years. She performed as a princess for “Once Upon A Princess” in Los Angeles for two years.
Receiving a Bachelor’s degree from Azusa Pacific University in Theatre Arts and Biblical Studies, and a Master’s degree from the University of Southern California in Teaching, Kathryn has enjoyed performing from a very young age. She has always had a passion and desire to encourage children to be whoever they want to be.
Kathryn finds the value of instilling children with strong morals and values at a young age through the eyes of someone they already adore: A Princess.
